At African Overland Ltd, we’re committed to offering a seamless, memorable, and transparent safari experience in Tanzania. Please take a moment to read our terms and conditions, designed to protect your investment while keeping your comfort and peace of mind a top priority.

  • A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking.
  • The remaining balance is due 6 weeks (42 days) before your safari begins.
  • For bookings made less than 6 weeks before the trip, full payment is required at the time of confirmation.
  • Payment methods include bank transfer, credit card, or other agreed-upon options.
  • More than 6 weeks before arrival: Deposit is retained, but no further charges apply.
  • 6 to 4 weeks before arrival: 50% of the total cost is refunded (excluding non-refundable deposit).
  • Less than 4 weeks before arrival: No refund available.
  • Rescheduling is free of charge where possible, subject to availability.
  • Park and conservation fees, professional guide, private safari vehicle with guaranteed window seat, accommodation, meals per itinerary, bottled water, and airport transfers (if booked with us).
  • Not included: international flights, visas, insurance, personal expenses, and optional activities not in the itinerary.

Once confirmed and the deposit is received, your quoted price is guaranteed with no hidden fees.

Comprehensive insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and personal items is required.

  • Passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your arrival date.
  • Tourist visas available on arrival or online. We assist with the process.
  • All guests have a window seat and access to a pop-up roof. Vehicles are well-maintained and insured.
  • 24/7 roadside assistance is available to minimize disruptions.

Minor changes are free before travel, subject to availability. Major changes may incur a small fee.

  • Guests should consult a travel doctor about vaccinations and malaria prevention.
  • Inform us of medical or dietary needs in advance. All guides are first-aid trained.

Payments are held in a secure client account. In case of disruption, refunds or rescheduling will be arranged.

Inform your guide of any issues immediately. Written complaints may be submitted within 14 days of return.

Governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Disputes will be resolved amicably or in Tanzanian courts.
