Arrival in Lake Manyara National Park
Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel or lodge in Arusha at approximately 7:00 AM. Meet your professional safari guide and travel through the beautiful Tanzanian countryside, passing local villages, coffee plantations, and rolling landscapes as you make your way to Lake Manyara National Park.
Upon arrival, begin your exciting morning game drive through the park’s varied habitats. Explore lush groundwater forests, acacia woodlands, open savannah, and the scenic shores of Lake Manyara. Keep your camera ready for sightings of the park’s famous tree-climbing lions, as well as elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, warthogs, and playful troops of baboons. The park is also a paradise for bird enthusiasts, with hundreds of bird species including flamingos, pelicans, storks, and colorful kingfishers.
Around Midday
