DAY 1: Arrival to Arusha
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide who will be waiting to assist you with your luggage and provide a brief introduction to your upcoming adventure. From the airport, you will enjoy a comfortable private transfer to Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania’s famous northern safari circuit. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to explore Arusha on a guided town tour, visiting local markets, cultural sites, and experiencing the vibrant atmosphere of the city. Alternatively, you can relax at your lodge, recover from your journey, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings while preparing for the exciting safari days ahead. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be at your selected lodge in Arusha.

DAY 2: Explore Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast at your lodge, depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day wildlife safari. Upon arrival, begin an exciting game drive through one of Tanzania’s most diverse and wildlife-rich national parks. Named after the Tarangire River, the park serves as a vital water source for animals throughout the year, attracting large concentrations of wildlife, especially during the dry season. Tarangire is renowned for its impressive herds of elephants, majestic baobab trees, and abundant predators, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs. As you explore the park’s vast savannahs, woodlands, and riverine habitats, you may also encounter giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, impalas, and a variety of bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic location inside the park before continuing your afternoon game drive. Later in the day, proceed to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 3: Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and journey through the scenic highlands before descending approximately 600 meters into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. Often referred to as Africa’s “Garden of Eden,” the crater is one of the world’s largest intact volcanic calderas and is home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife. Its diverse habitats support a remarkable variety of animals, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, hippos, and the rare endangered black rhinoceros. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor while surrounded by breathtaking scenery and abundant wildlife. Beyond its incredible game-viewing opportunities, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is unique because it allows the coexistence of wildlife and the indigenous Maasai people, who continue to live and graze their livestock within the conservation area.
