For Real Adventure
Arrival in Arusha
Your Tanzanian adventure begins as you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where our representative will meet you at Kilimanjaro Airport with a signboard; transfer to Arusha takes approximately 1.5 hours. Located on the green slopes of Mount Meru, Arusha is a bustling town and the perfect base to begin your journey. Tonight, you’ll settle into the tranquil Forest Hill Hotel, surrounded by tropical gardens and red-roofed cottages. After your travels, take time to unwind—perhaps with a refreshing dip in the pool—before enjoying your welcome dinner.

Tarangire - Karatu
Enjoy an early breakfast, your guide will pick you up for the safari. Transfer from Arusha to Tarangire takes 2.5 hours. Upon arrival, enjoy a thrilling game drive, spotting lions, giraffes, zebras, and over 500 bird species. In the afternoon, you’ll head to the peaceful town of Karatu to check in at Farm House Valley, surrounded by rolling hills and manicured gardens. Relax with a hearty dinner and take in the serene ambience of the countryside.

Journey to the Serengeti
Today, an early start takes you into the heart of Tanzania’s most iconic safari destination: the Serengeti National Park. The transfer time from Karatu to the Serengeti is approximately 3 hours. The drive leads through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where traditional Maasai communities live alongside free-roaming wildlife—a true harmony of culture and nature. As you enter the Serengeti, vast plains stretch endlessly before you. Acacia trees stand like watchful sentinels, and the savanna hums with life. You’ll enjoy a thrilling game drive en route to your accommodation, with chances to spot cheetahs, lions, gazelles, and maybe even the elusive leopard.
Tonight, stay under canvas at Land of Nature Camp, a classic tented camp offering a truly immersive safari experience. Fall asleep to the distant roar of lions and the rustle of the Serengeti breeze.

Full-Day in the Serengeti
Your day begins with sunrise over the Serengeti—a golden glow bathing the plains in soft light. After breakfast, you’ll spend the full day on game drives, tracking wildlife through different habitats, from rocky kopjes to grassy savannas. Marvel at elephants on the move, hyenas scavenging, and prides of lions napping under shady trees.
The Serengeti is also a birdwatcher’s dream, with over 500 species including ostriches, storks, and the vibrantly coloured lilac-breasted roller. Lunch is a picnic in the bush or back at camp—your choice—before you head out for an afternoon drive. As the sun sets, toast the day with a classic sundowner before returning to camp for dinner beneath the stars. An optional Hot Air Balloon Safari is available in the Serengeti at an additional cost.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro
After breakfast, say goodbye to the Serengeti and begin your journey to one of nature’s greatest marvels: the Ngorongoro Crater. This massive volcanic caldera shelters a thriving ecosystem, including the densest population of lions in Africa. Descend 600 meters into the lush crater floor, where you may spot endangered black rhinos grazing, hippos wallowing in swamps, and elephants wandering beneath fig trees. It’s also a great place to complete your Big Five checklist. Later in the day, return to Farm House Valley in Karatu for another restful night and a chance to reflect on your incredible sightings. Early morning transfer takes approximately 2.5 hours to reach Ngorongoro Crater for early descent.

Karatu to Tarangire
This morning, you head south to Tarangire National Park, a hidden gem often overshadowed by its more famous neighbours, but no less impressive. Known for its massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees, Tarangire is especially magical during the dry season when animals gather at the Tarangire River. Look out for buffalo, zebras, giraffes, and the rare fringe-eared oryx. The scenery is breathtaking and peaceful, perfect for a relaxed final day of safari. Tonight, stay at Tarangire Simba Lodge, where spacious tented suites offer comfort and close proximity to nature. Fall asleep to the sounds of the wild under the vast African sky.

Departure

01 3-Day Amazing Tanzania Safari Adventure
DAY 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park.
After an early breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic wildlife destinations. Known for its giant baobab trees and large elephant herds, Tarangire offers excellent game-viewing opportunities throughout the year. Enjoy a full-day game drive while searching for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species. Stop at a designated picnic site for lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon game drive. Later in the day, leave the park and drive to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay at your selected lodge.

Explore Ngorongoro Crater
Today, after your delicious breakfast, we will visit one of the seven African wonders – the Ngorongoro Crater, created when a huge volcano erupted two million years ago with a game drive along the way. The fertile lava has created a unique ecosystem; the crater has the highest concentration of animals anywhere in Africa! While descending from the rim onto the crater floor you will be surrounded by the most beautiful animals. When below, the views are astounding – you won’t know where to look!
The Ngorongoro Crater is home to many lion families, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, and many more species. And nowhere else offers a chance as good as this to spot the rare black rhino. So if you want to see the big five – this is the place to be! Proceed to the accommodation at sunset.

DAY 3: Lake Manyara National Park – Arusha
After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, a small but diverse park nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. The park is known for its lush groundwater forests, open grasslands, acacia woodlands, and the alkaline lake that attracts thousands of flamingos and other bird species. Enjoy a morning game drive as you search for elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, baboons, and the park’s famous tree-climbing lions. After a picnic lunch and final game viewing opportunities, begin your journey back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon.
