Day By Day Itinerary
2-Day Safari Tarangire & Ngorongoro (Tented Lodge)
For Real Adventure
DAY 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park.
After an early breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic wildlife destinations. Known for its giant baobab trees and large elephant herds, Tarangire offers excellent game-viewing opportunities throughout the year. Enjoy a full-day game drive while searching for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species. Stop at a designated picnic site for lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon game drive. Later in the day, leave the park and drive to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay at your selected lodge.
Meals: Lunch & Dinner Accommodation: Africa Safari Manyara Escarpment Camp
DAY 2: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha.
After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend 600 meters into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. Often referred to as Africa’s “Garden of Eden,” the crater is home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, wildebeests, zebras, and the rare black rhinoceros. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor while surrounded by stunning scenery and abundant wildlife. In the afternoon, ascend the crater and begin your journey back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon or early evening.
Meals: Breakfast & Lunch Accommodation: No Accommodation unless requested.
